4 Days on Maria

Combine Tasmania’s most spectacular custom scenic flight with a 4 day guided walk on an island paradise.

Your 4 day Maria Island Guided Walk starts with a sensational scenic flight from Hobart to Maria Island via the spectacular sea cliffs of Tasman Island then up the East Coast of Tasmania to Freycinet Peninsula and Wineglass Bay.

On your 1 ½ hour flight you commonly see pods of dolphins and migrating whales, you’ll fly close to spectacular sea cliffs and mountains and fly directly over Maria Island where your guide will point out your forthcoming journey.

Once on Maria Island your guides will immerse you in the islands history and lead you on an amazing 4 day exploration. You’ll experience close encounters with wildlife and marvel at spectacular cliffs and beaches.
The walking is easy each day and your pack is light. We will take you special places that only our guides know.
Accommodation is large twin share 4 person tents that you can stand up in with comfortable mattresses and bedding.

Your meals are of fresh local produce with 3 course dinners complimented with fine Tasmanian Wines.

You can choose to include the spectacular custom charter flight or access Maria Island by ferry.

Option 1 with Charter Flight AUD$1600
Option 2 with Ferry Transfers AUD$1200

Inclusions

Spectacular charter flight up the east coast of Tasmania then landing on Maria Island, ferry transport from Maria Island, Bus transfers from your motel and back to Hobart, all food and drinks, accommodation, National Park passes valid for 2 months, 2 friendly and knowledgeable guides, beautiful scenery and wildlife, fun, small groups.

Things you should know

At the booking stage you will receive from us a gear list of what to bring. If you don’t have some of the items on the gear list ie raincoats or fleece jackets we can supply them to you at no extra charge. You must bring all the items on the gear list as the weather in Tasmania can be changeable.
We will supply comfortable backpacks (must use ours). We also supply sleeping mats, sleeping bags and liners and pillows.

You will be required to fill out a Travel Profile informing us of your dietary requirements, medical conditions, gear you may like to borrow as well as sign an activity indemnity waiver.
We reserve the right to alter, delay or cancel a tour due to extreme weather conditions, bushfires or sudden track closures.

Refunds and Cancellations - If for some reason you are not able to partake in the booked tour / activity and you wish to cancel, our refund policy is as follows: Cancelling for tours / expeditions up to six weeks prior: A full refund less the 10% booking fee will be refunded. From 6 weeks to 3 weeks prior: a 50% refund will be given. Up to 3 weeks prior to the tour no refund is due. If you wish to transfer your booking to another date this can be done up to 6 weeks prior only. *Deposits are non-refundable.
